Location: [link] (Puerto de Mogán, Gran Canaria)

Puerto de Mogán is quite a nice harbour town of Gran Canaria, however not untouched by the high number of tourists which travel each year to the island. Nevertheless it is much cosier than the big tourist centers Maspalomas and Puerto de Ingles. It is located at the southern west coast and has got a little beach as you can see on the satellite picture, which is saved from the strong atlantic drifts. Honestly, it was the most peaceful water I saw at the coast of Gran Canaria! But many of the tourists who stayed in Puerto de Mogán went for swimming to the pools of their hotel parks .
I was surprised of that canoe which was on its way back to the harbour, for i did not thought that you can paddle on the Atlantic Ocean! Although the port itself might be saved, the water outside might be driftful and uncontrollable.
However, it seems to be possible.
